Probably the fault is coming from the processor ... please check it and try again...

I am wondering if I can put a Intel Pentium 4 Processor 3.20 GHz, 512K Cache, 800 MHz FSB into a AOPEN MX4GE motherboard, the socket type is the same but I am not familiar with the FSB settings to...

I would guess not, but If you already have them both, then try it. If not then I'd get a cpu or motherboard to match the other. I once got a 2.8ghz p4 and wanted to swap it for a 3.2ghz I had lying around, quickest way was to try it out, it didn't work so I swapped them back and put the 3ghz in another pc later on, both still worked perfectly.

The motherboard chipset of the Dell Dimension 2300 Desktop PC, will not support a processor with an 800MHz Front Side Bus frequency rate.

Only Intel Pentium 4's that use a Socket 478, 1.75 Volts, and a maximum of a 400MHz FSB.

The Intel Pentium 4 HT 3.0GHz processor has an 800MHz FSB, (As you have already stated), and uses 1.475 to 1.55 Volts.

The motherboard chipset for that Dell Dimension 2300, is an Intel 845GL.

This list on Wikipedia, shows you parameters the Intel 845GL chipset supports,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_chipsets#Pentium_4_Chipsets

Not a good outcome, sorry. Just stating the facts.

My pc processor not hit when on the mother board my mother board is aopen mother board plaese give me salution

If you mean that your processor pins does not fit in your motherboard, then they are not compatible. The processor pins must be exactly fit the motherboard.
Besides, the processor type must be supported by the motherboard (If the motherboard is supporting P4, Core Dou, Quad, Celeron, Athlon, etc). You have to install the right processor for a particular motherboard. You have to know what particular
processor is supported by your motherboard.. In your
case, I believe it supports Pentium 4, but I cannot
give you the exact speed in Ghz, as well as the clock speed. You can ask the dealer about it.

Upgrading the CPU

overclocking is adjusting the speed of which a cpu works at (processor = cpu) replacing a cpu is not overclocking and wont cause any problems aslong as the cpu is ment for the motherboard and is supported. depending on the motherboard you may not be able to place in a 800MHZ cpu, but if you find one that fits and works on your model sure go ahead, it wont cause any problems, other than possibly overheating if the cooling is designed for a slower processor.
