Instructions for refilling cartridges on a Lexmark Prevail Pro705 printer

Please note that Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from the ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.

I need to know how to refill my ink for my nx110 printer

The ink cartridges used in Epson's Stylus line of printers are very similar to the ones used in its other printers. A handful of cartridges--like the S020034, S020047 or S020049--may require a slightly different refilling technique, but they all basically entail opening a fill hole in the top to run down into the ink chamber within. Once the chamber is accessible, you can use a basic refill kit with a syringe bottle to refill the chamber, as with most printer-ink cartridges.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); });
1. Hold the cartridge upside down so the outlet holes to the printer paper are on top. Cover each hole with a piece of tape, then turn the cartridge right-side up.

2. Make a hole in the top of the cartridge above each ink chamber. For most cartridges, simply poke a hole through the label with a toothpick. With cartridges like the Epson Stylus 34 (the casing of which is black), pull back the label to reveal the filling holes and puncture the seal of each home. For the 47 or 49 color cartridge, drill a 1/8-inch hole in the shell between the label and front edge.

3. Determine which color of ink is in which chamber (if you're refilling a color cartridge). The toothpick used to puncture the hole should draw out some ink to show you. If you have a cartridge in which you punctured the label directly, the order of the color chambers is usually cyan, magenta and yellow. If you created the hole in another way (like with the 34, 47 or 49 cartridges), the order is usually magenta, cyan and yellow.

4.Fill the syringe bottle with 5ml of ink. Insert the needle in the filling hole and inject the ink. There may be a sponge inside the chamber, so make sure the needle goes all the way through to the bottom. The 34 cartridge takes up to 12ml of ink.

5. Tape over the fill holes you created. If you drilled the holes, plastic plugs (like the ones included in a refill kit) can work as well. Leave the tape on the outlet holes as you replace the cartridge in the Epson Stylus printer.

I don't know how to refill

Hi Good day!!!

1. Spread newspaper or paper towels on a table to create a workspace protected from spills and accidental leaks. Set the cartridge on this workspace.

2. Remove the label on top of the cartridge. Use a razor to peel up one corner, if necessary, then peel back the rest.

3. Fill the syringe from your refill kit with between five to 10 milliliters of ink. Match the ink to the color listed on the cartridge.

4. Insert the syringe needle into one of the holes on top of the cartridge. If there are no holes in the cartridge, you must create one. Use a thumb drill (also included in your refill kit) to punch a small hole through the plastic.

5. Insert the needle into the cartridge. Inject the refill ink into the cartridge until it is full. Ink will bubble up around the hole when the cartridge is full. Fill the cartridge slowly to avoid mistakes and spills.

6. Place the cartridge back into the printer. Wait at least a few hours before printing. Some refill kits recommend waiting 24 hours before using the printer. Print a test page when the cartridge is ready.

Hp laserjet 1100 toner catridge refill?

Hi follow these steps..

1.Purchase a refill kit for your model of printer. It is important to purchase a refill kit designed for your specific model, since generic refill kits do not work well with HP printers. There are a number of places to buy these kits, but you must make sure you get the right kit for your printer model

2.Take the toner out of the printer and clean it carefully. Over time toner cartridges will accumulate paper dust, dried toner and other debris, and all of this must be cleaned away before the cartridge is refilled.

3.Flip the cover out of the way to expose the developer roller, then use a soft clean cloth to clean the roller. It is important to clean this roller before refilling the cartridge.

4.Make a small hole in the toner cartridge, using the instructions provided in the refill kit. It is important to follow the refill kit instructions carefully, since the toner refill process will vary from model to model.

5.Place the replacement toner in the hopper, then carefully pour it into the HP cartridge. Be careful not to spill any of the toner, and if you do spill the toner be sure to clean it up promptly. Reseal the hole you made after the cartridge has been refilled.

6.Sit the refilled HP cartridge on a clean flat surface and let it remain there for 20-30 minutes. Pick up the cartridge and make sure no toner has leaked out. If you do see any leaks you will need to reseal the hole you made again.

7.Pick up the cartridge and make sure no toner has leaked out. If you do see any leaks you will need to reseal the hole you made again.

Good Luck & cheers:-)

Don't know where the refill hole is? Epson stylus c120 ink refill

The Epson 68 cartridges cannot be legally refilled at this time. There are two chips that monitor the ink levels. Once the ink gets below 25% the inner chip deactivates the outer chip so it cannot be reset. Any replacement chips you can buy are technically violating patent law. To refill these you would need a chip resetter and always refill it before it gets below 25%. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling store and I would not recommend refilling these yourself unless you enjoy getting ink everywhere and possibly still not having the cartridge work (btw there is no "refill hole" you make it yourself, thus the messiness).

How do i refill a canon printer cartridge

You need to put a strip of fexible eletrical tape over the large ink pad hole on the bottom front of the cartidge.
Drill a small hole at the top of the ink cartridge over the ink reservoir. (most refill kits come with a small bit to drill the hole). Fill the ink reservoir to 3/4. Put a piece of flexible electrical tape over the drilled hole to close the hole.
Voila! ... a refilled cartridge.
Most refill kits will have instructions.
Refilling can be messy so be careful and wear disposible latex gloves to avoid staining your hands. Also make sure you work over newpaper to catch any ink that you may drop.
Good luck.

I found that aftermarket cartridges are less than half the price of OEM cartridges and without the mess.

How do i make printer accept refilled cartridge t

Maybe you did not refill and insert it very well.

follow this steps in refilling your ink
1. remove the ink cartridge from the printer
2. make a hole at the top end of the cartridge, the hole can be made under the label on the cartridge by using a sharp/hot pin.
3. if you are using a syringe and needle in refilling, make sure you did not insert it into the hole too much so that the cartridge does not get damaged in the process.

4. make sure the ink is not over-filled to avoid spillage which can cause a hell of damage on you printer as it does to my previous one.

5. Gently use the label or a masking tape to cover the hole and insert it into your printer.

Note: The printer gives a message that the cartridge is empty or non compatible, ignore the message and continue with your printing.

It is also advisable that you refill your cartridge not more than 2 times.

No. there is a refill hole on the bottom of the cartridge. If you are uncertain, take it to a walgreens photo center and ask them to show you where the refill hole is.
