Re: Will not power on without charging cable. Battery...
Maybe the old battery is not working so you can try getting a new battery
or if you already got a new battery and it still doesn't work then it can mean either the battery model is not right or your phone doesn't support it.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The battery must have gone bad! if its three or more years old you need to get a new battery for the computer. Periodic conditioning of the battery from first use may prolong the battery life. Battery life is reduced by plugging computer with battery all the time.
Conditioning. Periodic full charge and full discharge practice is good for battery. Batteries are better charged when they are at less than 10% power and its better to charge them to 100%. Do not leave on electric power once they are fully charged.
I hope this helps in future but current battery may need replacement!
Once you purchase the iphone, dont use it yet.Instead of using it right away, kindly charge your IPhone with the wall charger for 3 hrs. Please dont use the Iphone while charging.Kindly check always if the battery is full.Once its fully charged then that's the time that you can use the iPhone. Once fully charged, let the iPhone's battery fully drain. Please keep the iPhone off for 2 hours.Fully charge your iPhone and allow the battery to rest in the
fully charged state for two hours. (You may use your iPhone during this
time as long as the iPhone is plugged in).Repeat the third and fourth step a maximum of three times if you feel your battery indicator is inaccurate.
Here are some tips for your everyday charging for your IPhone: #1 - Charge your iPhone throughout the day when available. Charge EVERY
night, regardless of charge level. This will keep your battery active,
which is healthy for the iPhone's battery.
#2 - Use a wall charger or car charger w/ rated output 5V 1A. Computer
chargers might not charge when the computer is in standby mode.
#3 - You cannot overcharge your iPhone. You don't need to disconnect
the iPhone from the charger after it's done charging. Once fully
charged, the iPhone will run strictly off of AC power and will not
damage the battery.
#4 - Every two months, make sure you fully charge and fully drain the
battery, in one cycle. This calibrates your battery indicator. If you
fail to do this, your indicator will become inaccurate. Calibrating
your battery does not improve battery life.
#5 - If you ever need to store your iPhone for any reason, make sure
your battery is stored @ roughly 50% and in a cool environment.
#6 - Always charge your iPhone out of its case (assuming you can easily
remove the case). Charging your iPhone inside your case will make the
iPhone hotter, which is bad for the battery.
#7 - Charge your iPhone in a cool location. Charging your iPhone in a
cool environment has a tremendous impact on your battery's lifespan.
The colder the location you use to charge, the more charging cycles you
can complete without your battery deteriorating. Avoid charging in
#8 - Use properly rated chargers. Using chargers that are not properly
rated will have a huge impact on your battery's lifespan. Make sure
your car charger has the same rating as the official Apple charger. The official Apple wall charger is rated as follows:
Input: 100 240V ~ 50/60 Hz 1.0A
Output: 5V 1A Thanks!
I know how desparate this feels - try powering it off completely and remove / replace the battery - make sure the charger is connected securely and try again - you should be able to use the phone whilst it is on charge. If the charging symbol does not appear when in charge mode then the charger itself may be faulty. Try hooking it up to a USB cable from your PC - it should still charge but not as quickly.
The phone can be left on longer than necessary and it will stop charging and will not harm the battery. It is recommended that when the phone indicates a full charge, disconnect the charger from the phone, then from the outlet.
Take of the battery and let the phone stand for about 20 min without the charger or battery connected. Afterwards connect the charger only without the battery and see if the phone comes on. If nothing happens, attach the battery and disconnect the power cord to see if it powers up. If that does not work, keep the battery attached, then connect the power cord and see if it powers up. If none of these work, you will have to contact your manufacturer or wireless provider.
What you need to do is go onto Ebay and get a universal cell phone charger, and another battery. The universal charger plugs into the wall and directly charges the battery, without the phone's charging port. With an extra battery you can create a cycle so that you never have to wait for a battery to get done charging. This is what I do since my enV broke, and it works well. Just don't try it if you're impatient, because it takes roughly 12 hours to charge to full power.
Cell phone batteries are only good for about 300 charges then they go kaput. Take your charger to the store and try it there likely just a bad battery. Or a faulty charger, they will be able to tell you at US Cellular they have test equipment that they can check the battery and the charger and the phone charging circuit, I've never been charged for that service.
r u mention for battery light?if is it true, then the light is blinking because of your laptop want to make sure the power supply charge that battery.if it is in charging condition, the light on.but if the light goes off, that mean, the battery is already full.
But when u use adaptor without battery, the light will goes off because no charging session is in progress which has same behaviour with battery full(during battery full,no charging session occur)
I had this same problem, it's really irritating. Not exactly a full solution, but if you leave your phone connected to the usb for around 10 - 15 mins then disconnect it, remove and replace the battery and turn it on, it should have enough power to boot up, the just reinsert the usb and it should charge.
