Question about Pioneer PureVision PDP-503CMX 50 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
I have a pioneer 503-CMX plasma that is about 5.5 years old. While watching, there was a loud pop and then nothing ...
Is it repairable??
Anything is repairable as long as the screen isn't damaged.
The sound you heard is most likely was a capacitor that just went dead.
Solder in a new capacitor should fix the problem. It would most likely be on the power supply board somewhere.

Any other questions just ask.
