Power light

Hi Bill, I believe the power problem is related to the Remote wire which should be blue or yellow. The remote wire is suppose the turn the Basslink on and off when the radio is turned on and off. The yellow wire is normally used for power antenna. Traditionally the remote wire is blue. You can use a Speaker level adapter and splice in with the L/R rear speaker wires, and the adapter will convert the speaker level to line level. The output of the adapter will go to the Rear speaker input on the basslink., Write back if you need more detail on the adapter.

Radio/cd player went dead. Tried replacing fuses

Do NOT Cut and Splice. Your local parts store sells an aftermarket radio plug in which connects to your factory harness and then you can splice in your radio into the new connectors ends that are labeled for what they go to.

How to install an aftermarket radio in a 2004 Chevy C2500

You will need a wiring harness for the model truck you have, plus a filler kit. The filler kit is what the radio will actually attach to and fill the space left by the factory radio. Follow the diagrams for wiring from the harness and the aftermarket radio. Generally, there are 8 wires to be connected for a four speaker system. In addition, you will connect a ground wire (black), a yellow wire (constant power), a red wire (this is to turn the radio on and off with the ignition), and a solid orange wire (illumination). Because you have a GM product you will also need an antenna adapter. All these things can be purchased at Best Buy, or WalMart.

I cant figure out how to hook up my new raido in my car can u help

The easiest way it to get a wiring adapter, any auto parts place or even walmart sells them in the automotive radio department. They plug into the factor harness connector, but you will still have to splice the adapter to the new radio harness, but the wires will be color coded the same at the new harness.
