Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 Digital Camera

Canon power shot A70 does not show an image on the screen.

My canon Power shot A70  does not show an image on the screen. When I took a 'photo', no image was captured. The photos that had already been captured in the camera could be brought up, it is just the taking of new photos. Can you suggest any solution ?

Turned camera off and back one with the same result. NO image come to the screen. What does come on the screen is horizontal blotchey lines that look very foggy to the eye. The menu does come up and is readable.

Follow the linl for Canon. I am so thrilled I found this site and I contacted Canson and they had me do a few things to my camera and said it sounded like the sensor. They sent me postage paid label to send it to them. I sent it in on Jan. 7th and got an e-mail on Jan. 11th saying it was fixed no charge and was being mailed back to me. A big thanks for the person that posted what Canon had to say about the problems with the camera

Digital Camera Malfunction

mine just started doing the same thing a few weeks ago. I had downloaded pixes to the computer, went outside to take picture and it started acting up. strange lines appear on the screen, but the codes are all there, and you can view the pictures that are on the card. no, the card is not full, the batteries are fine. I think it has a virus built in to start trouble so we will go buy a new one!
