Re: Ipod touch interent
You may be showing wireless signal but not hooked up to the network. Go to Setting and click on Wifi make sure the switch is on and you show an available wireless network. you will have to enter the password for your network which is the wep key for your wireless router. should be on the bottom label of the router. once you do these things you should get connected.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

download the latest version of itunes . after the installation of itunes connect your ipod touch using the usb dongle that comes with it. itunes will try to sync on your ipod touch. now click on itunes store then login using your existing account. if you still dont have an account you need to create one first.
once logged in on itunes store you can now select any apps that you want to download on your ipod touch (free/non free)
on your ipod touch you can also click on the app store icon and download. just make sure you that you are connected to the internet.
This worked for me: Went into SETTINGS > Wi-Fi > Selected my Network (which my iPod said I was already connected to) > Selected "Forget this Network" (which disconnects you from your network) > Re-selected my network and under password, I entered the 'Security Key' from my Verizon FIOS Tech Wizard info and the device accessed the app store successfully.
Some troubleshooting techniques for this problem would be to connect to another network, maybe your neighbor's (one without a password) and connect back to your network, it could also be a problem with your router/modem even though it shows a full signal, try reconnecting your router or modem.. Whether this works or not, try using the "Easy Wi-Fi" app, its free, download it from the app store, and set it up, it could help in getting a signal or maintaining it. This is a common issue, and sometimes with the ipod touch it may connect and disconnect from the internet. If your computers or other devices are having the same problem you may want to consult your service provider. Hope I helped
if you try connecting it to itunes and then go to the ipod category, you should see a button down the bottom of the page saying "factory reset" or something of that equivelant. This will wipe your ipod and then you can just sinc. the songs from your library. If this doesn't work it could be something wrong with your hardware and contact apple to see if u can get a refund/replacement.
Try removing that app from your iPod, then download it again from the App Store (free re-downloads) or if it is on your computer, simply connect your iPod and upload it back onto your iPod. That always works for me.
