My ELECTRIC Dryer Model Performa PDET910ayw will not heat. It tumbles and it works but will not dry clothes help with the answer would be appreciated.

Could be a belt that is slipping.

Hello,
On that model the heater in behind the back wall of the drum. To access the heater place a screwdriver between the top and front panel and pop the top up.The heater housing will be attached to the top of that back wall of the drum support

causes the dryer to over heat. The fuse kit LA-1053 mounts here:

I have a Kenmore dryer and it runs but won't heat up and dry the clothes. I don't hear the ignition even turn over. Please help. I can't afford to buy a new dryer at this time.

what type is this electric or gas? have you removed the exsaust from the wall and ran a load like this? if you have heat and this is an electric dryer it sounds like you have a blockage in your house. if the dryer runs fine without the exsaust attached then that is your problem. let me know
