Question about Bissell 37604 Lift-Off Pet Bagless Upright / Canister Vacuum CleanerVacuum
I bought belts from a vaccum repair store and was sold the wrong belts so i ordered the right belts from bissell put the belt on and in less than 5minutes the belt comes off.
The dowel that the belt attaches to should have a slight "V" in it. This prevents the belt from slipping off. Check that, if it isn't there than you may need to replace the dowel. I own a Bissell and every 6-8 months replace the belts anyway as preventative maintenance is my philosophy.

Check your Brush, it may not be rolling freely. I had to clean string and hair and fiber out from ar0und the ends to get the brush to roll freely. This will cause the belt to get hot and come off. just clean out the Brush ends.
