Need to temporarily move our Whirlpool Gold refrigerator to replace kitchen floor. How do we remove fridge doors so we can get it through the doorway?

Usually, there are bolts/screws on the hinges. They may be covered with a plastic cap which will snap off. Start with the freezer door. While supporting the door, remove the screws from the hinge and lift to free the door. Now you should have access to the hinge supporting the refrigerator door. Same procedure for refrigerator door. Keep the screws in a safe place so you can reassemble the refrigerator when the kitchen floor is done.

Refrigerator side lights quit working bulbs are new

your control board in the lower rear of the unit is defective,a tell-tale sign of this sometimes is, if you can hear a buzzing/chattering sound and the refrigerator lights strobe dimly and the temp set and read-out in the refrigerator is not lit,the control board is located after you remove the rear lower cover on the back side of the unit and on the left inside wall you will see it in a plastic box, remove the screws that secure the box and then remove plastic top cover and there will be 3 wiring harnesses, unplug them, replace the control board and reverse procedure to reinstall

on the top of the Refrigerator, there is a hinges on both side covered by a plastic cover, take out the cover by fliping it and you will see the bolts on it, remove it one at a time, try to support the door so that it will not fall out. after romoving all the bolts, you can take out the hinges then full up the door slowly. How do you remove the face plate the is on the

Remove the top hinge cover , covering the top freezer door hinge , and unplug the visible receptical . This removes power to the dispensor and dorr . Using a butter knife between the grill and the dispensor bottom cover , push down and inward , prying the cover outward . Do this on both sides , about 1 " from each side . This pops the plastic clips off . Raise the cover to release from the upper plastic retainers . Disconnect the plug from the cover and its removed . Do this carefully , because your working with plastic . To reinstall , reconnect the plug to the dispensor cover , slide the top in place and pop the lower tabs back into place . Reinstall the top hinge plug and cover .

Ice won't dispense, suspect switch in door cover. how to remove door cover to check? Oddly enough, my ice maker stopped working AND the switch in the door (or other circuit problem for dispensing) failed...

Insert a small putty knife between the dispensor plate and the dispensor cover about 1-2 inches from the sides and press down and inwards . Do this carefully because there are 2 plastic "clips" at the bottom . Once bottom is free , lift upwards and the cover will come off . Remove the plug and it's free . There is a white contraption , large , that have 2 rods the micro switches clip onto and sometimes , the switch on the left , has the broken rod holding the micro switch . This causes no ice dispensing .

Removing front cover to fix non-closing dispenser door

If your talking about the disp/foutain cover for the ice door chute not closeing problem heres how its done.

1 That cover is plastic and plastic flexs.
2 There should be two notches in the bottom area of cover. Insert flattip screwdriver in either one and pry out towards you. Bottom should pop off and top then slides up of tabs in door.

you can also try pushing down on top of disp cover when prying at bottom or pressing down really hard on fountain cover till part sortof flexs/slides down a milimetter and pulling towards you. The pressing down and pulling is down at bottom of cover inside disping area.

Refridgerator door handle

The entire handle slides upward and out to detach from the door. There are two screws attached to the handle which can be tightened once the handle is off. Those screw heads are what reattach the handle to the door by sliding them through the door bracket opening, where they follow a short channel down leaving the handle secured again.
