Re: region code

I assume you are referring to the DVD drive region code in your Toshiba laptop.

1. Determine the exact make and model of the drive.

2. Check the mfr's. website for reset instructions.

3. Google - DVD REGION UNLOCK CODE. You will find lots of help there.

Good luck

Laptop dvd player stuck on region 1 need 4 for

Try changing the region by right clicking your DVD drive in explorer and select properties, go to hardware tab, select your DVD brand and type, click properties, go to DVD region, and change the region.. Just remember, any DVD only allowed to change the region for about 4 times, after that, you can't change the region anymore..

Just replaced the HDD in my Toshiba Satellite M55-S329 from a 100GB to a 320GB after the old HDD failed. Now after replacing the HDD, it does recognize the hDD but I get the error message "pxe-e61 media...

You have to change to boot order in the bios settings, it is currently trying to boot from a network drive, it needs to be set to the HDD you just installed.

My toshiba satellite M55-S329 powers up and the display comes on for a second. Then it will go black but it will stii be running.

Restart the laptop and hit the F8 key as it starts up, if it get you to a sub menu without the display going off post back here, let me know and i'll tell what to do as i think it maybe a display/video problem.
