When the AC is off then the pressure is 250

When the AC is on,then the pressure of suction is
40 & When the AC is off then the pressure is 250.How can I solve this problem ?

Because there is no pumping action when the compressor is off.

How much r410 gas pressure in 1.5 ton inverter ac


Usually on any 410a freon system you can use a pt chart, and for any other freons also. At 120psig yours indoor coil temp is around 40°f. You want this temp/pressure above freezing. Your pressures are going to depend on indoor/outdoor temps. Hope this helps!

58 psi would be 32° so it needs to be above that on the suction(low) side and head pressure you dont want to be over 250 psi

Freezers are not measured in horsepower, only mechanical engines. This is the specs, and it is basically a 25 amp freezer, with an additional 7 amps or fans lighting and door heater, both at 250 volts AC. However, running an Amps to HP converter gives 6.971 horsepower.

a typical ac pressure should be around 150-250 on the high side and 20 - 40 on the low side depending on the temperature. If the high side is higher than that check the operation of the condenser fan, or make sure there isnt any leave or debris stuck between the radiator and the condenser

Your head pressure is a little high, depending on the ambient temp and your suction pressure is a little low. The suction pressure should be around 68 psig, the equivalent of a 40 degree coil. You can try adding a little refrigerant, check your compressor amp draw. If head pressure keeps going up and suction doesn't come up you may have a restricted metering device or filter dryer

"Superheat" on the suction line 6" from compressor ?
Did you change the drier and evacuate to at least 500 microns ?
What model number is the condensing unit ?
Does the system have a "Crankcase Pressure Regulator"
if so is the TXV ZP type ?

A 100# suction line if R22 refrigerant is way too high, possible bad reversing valve or compressor valves, with low head pressure and high suction pressures. is the amp draw lower than the lister RLA or run load amps?

Hello take a evap coil split (return temp vs supply temp) 18*F would be great.If it is lousy the TXV valve is restricting the flow of freon or the filter drier is clogging.Adding freon will overcharge the system and the suction will NOT improve.

How to tell if you have a bad suction valve for ac compressor?


Hey there. First question I have is if you have a heat pump or straight ac. Straight ac is easy to diagnose. Your suction pressure will be high, your head pressure will be lower, not sure how clean your condenser coils are so its hard to say how high. Your amp draw on your compressor will be lower than normal. Also, when looking at the suction pressures, you have to keep in mind what temp the air hitting the evap coil is. If it is warm, that will make your suction pressure go up. Another way to check the vavles is to hold the suction line at the compressor when you shut it off. If the temp goes up the second you shut it off, this tells you the hot gas is leaking through your suction valves. You can also try to pump the system down, then shut it off and see how fast the pressure builds back up, this will give you and idea how fast it is leaking through.
