Hi, my tmobile mda's sound randomly stops working for hours to days at a time. The phone may ring when called but no sound is heard by me or the caller. Also, during soundless calls the speakerphone button does not turn the speakerphone on. I tried a hard reset and it did not fix the problem. The problem started when the battery popped out one time I dropped it and now whenever the phone is plugged into the charger, or the battery is removed the sound will fail to work until it randomly comes back. Please try and provide me with a solution, the phone is just out of warranty.

If you are sure you can't be heard while NOT on speakerphone, it's probably a software problem, if you can be heard but can't hear while NOT on speakerphone, then it might be a bad Mic. If you really can't be heard while NOT on speakerphone and you are out of other options, perform a HARD RESET to restore the phone to factory (or current ROM) settings. Check to make sure the mute function isn't being initiated when you take the phone off speakerphone or start a call.
call tmobile and ask for the unlock code. they will give it tho they may ask for a reason why you want the unlock code...tell them you going to another country or something. but its free that way otherwise you will have to pay for it....good luck
this more of a problem that it has to be looked into by engineers in theworkshop. find ou t if you still have any warranty in place from the manufacturer.
the problem is that the screen controller is faulty an it has to be fixed in the workshop it is pure electronics stuff
I would call them at 1-800-t-mobile to make sure your service is set up correctly (if it isn't it may explain why it takes so long to locate the network) or you could use their customer care site at http://www.t-mobile.com/Contact.aspx to find a store that will replace/repair it for you.
