Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My Kef PSW 2010 Sub Woofer is suffering from the common relay trill noise problem that happens when it is left running on standby mode. I am an electronics engineer, so I'm just looking for basic advice on what is likley to have gone. Some user groups state cirtain capacitors and other say the relay that it is the activation relay. Do you have a maintanence manual or circuit diagram for this ? Thank you Mino
The relay buzzing fault is caused by a faulty electrolytic capacitor.
You need 47uF 100v 105C radial.
C52 on the corner of the board near some power resistors.

If you are really keen you could fit a small computer type fan to add additionally cooling!
