Question about Computers & Internet
We installed softICE software and configured it to start manually.
WE then clicked on start menu and clicked on start softice menu item.
Then the screen flashes and then disappered.
We tried by pressing Cntrl-D.But the screen did not then also.
When we clicked on load symbol table we got a message that softICE is not currently loaded and is not currently running
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Problem with meter
keyboard event are delivered to the component that has "keyboard focus". Looks like somebody is stealing focus from your active x control. It would be the best to find whom and disable it but if not the quickest hack is: 1. set timer in you application say for 100 milliseconds. 2. check if your your active x control has focus (there should be analog of GetFocus in VB). 3. if not - call something similar to Win32.SetFocus with the handle of your control. Let me know if you still have problems.

No I don't think that is the problem here, what kind of CPU do you have? Is it a AMD 64-bit processor? The application is triggering an invalid register in the system command processor. More than likely that version of Visual Studio had limited support for the AMD CPU... multi-core... x64... You can try updating Visual Studio with the last service pack offered or upgrade to something like Visual Studio .NET 2005 (VS 8.0). Microsoft offers the Express Versions for free online... I doubt you'll have a problem with a modern high-level compiler; you can also run a Registry Repair Tool to see if there are any invalid registry entries. I use Uniblue Registry Booster because they're a Microsoft Certified Partner.
