I really cannot tell you how to do that. You need to follow the instructions that came with the tachometer.
Please note: I would be very cautious about connecting aftermarket equipment into your computer input or output circuits. These things have been known to cause all kinds of drivability problems as well as make it impossible to pass an emissions test (if it is required where you live).
I have personally seen aftermarket add-on equipment cause everything from engine cylinder misfires to transmission shifting problems to engine stalling and no-starts. I do not recommend using any at all. However, there are usually no problems created by "stand alone" accessories that are powered directly from the battery and do not require splicing into any of the computer circuits.
My professional recommendation on this is that if you think you need a tachometer to operate your vehicle, or you just like the looks of a tachometer bouncing up and down, then you would be money and headaches ahead to buy a vehicle that is equipped with a tachometer from the manufacturer - you may be opening a can of worms that you do not want.
This is just my opinion based on 37 years of experience diagnosing and repairing automobiles (and having to clean-up aftermarket add-on messes) - do with it as you wish.
Just click on the orange box that has the word DOWNLOAD in it. If you
save the file to your Desktop all you have to do is double-click the
icon that it creates and the reader will install itself. You can then
double-click the file for your manual and it will automatically load the
reader and display itself in the reader.
It depends on the tachometer. Some tachometers operate off the ignition unit and others get their trigger from the coil. Also, since a Harley fires both plugs at the same time and every time the pistons come to top center. Therefore, the tachometer must be set up for this, just like for a two stroke engine or you'll get a erronous reading. Any tachometer that you buy should have wiring instructions with it.
use unidentified device drivers (download) it searches for all drivers needed on motherboard locate video driver info note name and number do a search for them download install. the above program has helped me alot to find unknown drivers
They don't seem to offer a download for the CD, but it's not really necessary. Go to http://www.netgear.com/ and download the manual, which gives very clear instructions. This might take a little longer, but you'll have a much better understanding of routers when you're finished. FWIW, most routers will work without any set up at all. To enable encryption, you'll need to review the instructions.
