Question about Intel D101GGC Motherboard
I have Intel 101GGC Board And I have changed my for which was existed on my board.Old fan was not working properly so I changed it. Now when I fitted new fan it sounds and it displayed something and I remember only one thing that overheating was written on my monitor.
Can you tell me that what is the problem and what should I do to come out this problem?
Please give me solution as soon as possible...
The heat sink assembly along with requisite amount heat conduction paste/putty is resulting in insufficient heat dissipation from the processor which then flashes the warning "overheating of the processor, shutting down computer to prevent further damage". Hopefully you changed the processor too along with the heat sink, otherwise no application of fresh paste, incompatible mounting of heat sink along with the fan assembly. If you need further help, do post it as a comment!.........................sodeep
