Question about Logitech Keyboards & Mice
I have installed the Logitech Cordless Desktop S510 to replace my Logitech Itouch. (Computer on startup was giving keyboard problem beep) With the old keyboard scroll bar was making the screen drop to the bottom of the page. I hoped the new keyboard and mouse would fix the problem.
Anyway, no manual came with the new and I can't find anything on line that tells me how to program the new keyboard. i.e. how to make the F buttons work. Please understand that this computer is running Windows 98. Yes, I do have a laptop that is running XP, but hope to keep the old one running as my father likes to use it and he likes the old one better.
I would perhaps like to also use this with my laptop, but still need to know how to program the thing.
When I bought my s510 recently I couldn't use the function keys even with the software that came with the keyboard and mouse.
I had to actually download new logitech software for the s510 which allowed me to use the function/extra keys.
On the right hand side of the screen you will see 'Support Center' below it click 'Downloads,'
From there you can choose your OS w98 and language and download the software you need to get your keyboard working the way it should.
