You must check serial number on your TV. Some serial numbers begin with DS1, DS2, DS3, or DS4. Than match your boards. As of now...I don't believe you have the correct board. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair, an authorized Philips Service Center.
I had the same exact problem. I just plugged it in and hit the manual release button and my DVD came right out pushed the slide back in and the buttons started working again.
Contact the authorized service center for Philips. Sounds like a disc loading mechanism fault. If so, it can't be purchased from open electronic spare part market. google.com/+GopakumarGopalan
DVD region Power on with no disc in tray Press HOME Enter 138 931 0 For RCE-discs use region number instead of last "0" (e.g. 138 931 1 sets player to region 1 (America))
