Could be the fan is bad if you have a ohm meter check for resistance and if it is good then focus on the capacitor. I just had a job that the fan was good but the capacitor was bad. The fan on the unit was on it's last leg but the capacitor did the fix. By your limited information you gave I am filling in blanks thinking you are talking about the condenser section of your split system.

94 thunderbird heat or cold air doesnt blow

if you saying the fan wont blow it may need a fan motor not uncommon it might be a speed switch if it has one some time you can hook a wire on the back of the speed switch plug in to get it on high use a 14 gauge wire or bigger a small jumper bent in a loop with the rubber peeled off the ends and shove them in the switch plug find the 12 volt ht wire on the plug with light or vom then try the other wires one at a time til fan runs with ignition switch on

From your description I would say they hard drive is failing and would suggest that you buy a new one and transfer all your data over to it or go to a pc place and have them do it.

My emachine T1742 desktop will not turn on. When plugged in the power supply's fan turns on, cpu fan doesnt start, both hdd/power led's flicker and pressing power button doesnt power on/off system.

Disconnect all the devices from the computer(tower) including keyboard, mouse, monitor(everything)..even the power cable

Now keep on holding down the power button on the computer tower for 15-30 seconds..

Now release the power button, plug in the power cable, monitor, keyboard, mouse and turn on the computer...

If it works, great!!!

Otherwise, take it for repair..

Sounds like a bad fan

Over time, everything gets old. I suggest buying a "Inter-cooler" it helps keep everything cool, and takes a little less pressure off the fan.

Sub woofer its on for 3 sec..

your cooling fan is not engaging and coming on like its suppose to. One, the fan is probably burned out, which sucks because its low voltage and the only thing on the board that is low voltage. Two, there is a thermostat type component that tells the fan to start which HAS burned out and doesnt start the fan accordingly. If you look at the back fan and turn everything on you will see the fan either doesnt start or starts right as the relay trips turning the sound components off. If it starts at all your fans good. The thermostat component will need to be replace and I cant recommend a source. Just trying to explain the problem so you can look for the right repair. Hope it helps. I have one of these and have found this is the problem, but cant find the solution.
