have Windows Vista and am trying to install a "DIGITECH" 4 in 1 (eB1030) Digital Camera Binoculars. The software disc is labeled "e-BinoCam. The problem I am having is that when I try to install this I get the message "Unable to read version information from the file C:\Program Files (x86)\Ulead Systems\Ulead photo Explorer 7.0\Pex.exe. Insufficient memory or system resources low." I have tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling. I cannot believe that I have Insufficient memory or low system resources. This is a Gateway m-series laptop 64 bit 3 gig ram and 268 gig hard drive computer new in August of last year. I tried to open the driver for this right from the CD but windows says it cannot find the driver. I am unable to find the driver on line. Can anyone PLEASE HELP ME figure out how to get this working or know of where I can download the driver?

Hi,

Problem - Less RAM ( Random Access Memory ).

Go to Desktop Icons>Right Click My Computer>Properties.

Check RAM - It would be 128,256 or 512MB which is Quite Less as per Latest Standard.

If you have Less RAM, you cannot install a software that consumes more RAM as it would result in crashing of windows XP.That's a feature of Windows Xp.

Permanent solution - Increase RAM.Go to 1Gb.

Trick that might work :-

In Windows XP
1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2.Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.
3.On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
4.On the Advanced tab, under Virtual memory, click Change.
5.Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change.
6.Under Paging file size for selected drive, click to Custom size check box. You can enter the amount of memory you would like to reserve for Virtual memory by entering the initial and maximum size.
7.Click Set
When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.
Special Note: You should choose the same amount for the initial size and maximum size. This will Stop your CPU from constantly changing the paging file.

HOT TIP: To stop your CPU from constantly changing the paging file, set the initial and maximum size to the same value. For example, 500 and 500. The value should be at least 1.5 times more than your physical RAM. If your computer has 512MB of RAM increase the virtual memory paging file to 1.5*512= 768

Last option - System restore which is not advisable as you would lose data which you have store after the default system point.

Any further help, let me know.

Thanks for using Fixya.

Do rate the solution as "Fixya" if 100% satisfied.

Do use the trick - That's the best way if you have more than 1Gb Ram.

    Thanks.

I'd suggest ring back Sony support and tell them that your OS is Windows 7 - not Vista. Therefore, you need the upgraded VGA driver because the Vista driver is incompatible with Windows 7. Hope it all goes well. If my suggestion works for you, please do rate me. Thanks

New hdw s/w cannot find Drivers for 25-157????

If you are running XP or Vista, unplug the cam from the computer and after shutting down the computer, reconnect the cam and reboot the puta. The "Found New Hardware" wizard should start, it may say cannot find drivers, reinsert your install CD then point to that area for windows to search(Drive D or E) and you should be all set.

Perdi o meu cd de intalacion

Vale, vaner...

Please tell me how to install Gigaware PC Cam on my Vista Computer?

This might help, then again it might not. It seems that your comments are well founded regarding this particular cam. Suggestion is either take it back for refund or give the driver below a try. No guarantees provided.
