SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The cost of fixing low-cost electronics is prohibitive. Most are built with the view that they cannot be opened without damaging the product. Parts are not available from the manufacturer because they are assembled in China and the components are ordered for a run of complete products, not spare parts. If you think it is your only option, most electronic repair shops can figure out circuits and components, but be prepared to be charged more than you paid for the product.
Asking for replacement components on Fixya is fruitless. Unless some has taken apart a product EXACTLY like your own, you will get no answer.

By bhaskar i got a msg from company@hrdinfo.info i.e ur resume has selected for a new plnt.and u have to pay refundable security payment for a favor of cmpny HRD for the some 8200.is it fraud or true

Probably it's a fraud. Never pay for anything on Internet unless you are absolutely sure.
They might also try to get your credit card info and use it for other purposes.

WHAT A JOKE. YOU SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD

My friend, I don't know what your question is though it is obvious you are upset about something. I don't recognize your question nor your 'handle' and I don't believe I replied to you at any other time.

I can tell you that the people who answer questions here are, by and large competent and caring, reasonable people and reasonably good at what they do. Some are professional and others (like me) learned by doing; I'm just an ordinary guy trying to assist others with their troubles on my day off from the regular job. We are all trying to help folks like you with your problems. I am not compensated in any way for this response to you - I am not an employee of FixYa.com. You will have an opportunity to rate my response and of course you can rate this response high or low or in between. Frankly, I would like a good evaluation, but it doesn't affect my bottom line in any manner. I don't know what your problem is so I cannot make a comment to help you, except to say ...

I am sorry you are disappointed with the response you received. If you paid for your response, there are remedies for you through the site. When you opened your account, you were directed to the Terms of Use. You had to indicate you understood the terms and agreed before you could proceed. Several of the terms say basically "... be nice while you are here - no attacks please ..." I now kindly suggest to you that you return to the Terms of Use (link below) and review the method you should follow to get your money back, if you paid for anything, that is. BTW, your comment, this comment, that I am responding to, appears in the "free section" of FixYa.com. Normally, paid questions do not appear in this section.

Thank you for your interest in FixYa.com and thanks for the feed back. Be assured that I will try harder when I make my comments to others in the hopes others will not return a comment like this to me.

Thank you and God Day.

How do we get paid by Fixya for answering questions?

Hi achintya1915, welcome to FixYa. While you can earn some money as a regular Expert by answering Marketplace Questions (see below for more info), you will have to get approved as a Premium Expert in order to access the vast majority of our paying questions. I see that you have already applied to be a Premium Expert. While you are waiting, you should review our criteria for Premium Experts- http://www.fixya.com/support/r2607184-fixya_looks_in_premium_expert. Make sure that all your recent solutions meet those criteria. As for what you are currently seeing, those are Marketplace Questions. They indicate questions where the asker has indicated their willingness to pay for a successful solution, but have not actually submitted payment. They are a good way to try out providing Premium-level support, but do not represent the bulk of the paying questions on FixYa. Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at: http://www.fixya.com/contact

Denon 2106 Protect Mode (Update)

Yes, I am in Texas, just moved there from Michigan. Got away from the cold just in time. It's beautiful in Colorado, but just too cold for me.

I had no idea you had paid for a premium service. You contacted me thru the free forum. If you would like for me to get the payment for the premium service, you could contact fixya thru this email ( lauren@fixya.com ) and tell her (Lauren) how you did not get the information you needed from the premium question you asked and would like that credit to go to me. She will know what to do about it. I really don't know how you would go about it. As it stands right now, you will end up paying whoever answered you first unless you gave somebody a FixYa! rating and accepted the solution. Unless you request a refund. Which is what you may need to do. I hate to see some other person get paid for my knowledge. This has happened to me on many occasions. I get contacted thru the free forum to solve a problem they have paid somebody else for. I don't spend a whole lot of time on the site, since almost everything I do on this site is free help.

In the premium questions you should not give anyone anything but a "Thanks for Trying" unless you are satisfied you have received the help you have paid for. I never seen a link to the premium question you paid for, so I never got a chance to answer you there. I am sure that some of the answers you were getting there were very amusing, to say the least. As I told you in my last post, I really am an expert in these receivers and I don't believe there is another expert here with the experience actually repairing them as I have. There is a decent bunch of folks working here, but many are not really the experts they claim to be. It can be a pretty frustrating activity using the premium service because there are so many so called "Experts" that are only in this for the money and try to answer questions they know nothing about. I hope it was not as bad for you as I have seen in many other cases.

Thanks,

Dave (tech48)
