Not sure what side clips are for?

Not really a biggie but, I was wondering what the two clips on the side head band were for on the coleman headlamp? I'm guessing either to hold the wire or to clip on somewhere?

Where can I find replacement links or a replacement band for an aquaforce rothco 04Q US Marines watch It is a very unique band with tag hauer type u shaped links

As far as links go only the manufacturer would carry them. However a replacement band can be easily installed and can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart. You need to measure how wide the band is where it connects to the watch in MM (most bands have a width that is uniform however I've seen some before that get smaller as you move away from the head). The band is held onto the head by a part known as a spring bar. In order to remove the band get something small like a dental pick (that's what I use) and push the bar in while at the same time pulling on the band. If you don't pull the spring bar will reengage and snap back in. Removing the band is fairly simple however the trick is getting them back in. I line the spring bar over the natch and try to get one side in at a time although on some watches both sides of the bar must be pressed in at the same time before the band will fit in the slot. It really just takes patients and a steady hand.

I would like to know how many square feet a Model # BRCQ0421BD Serial # 990905429 Coleman Central Air Conditioning Unit will cover. The unit supply is 208-230V 1 PH 60 Hz 10.8 RLA 97 LRA.

The Old Rule of Thumb is 400 square feet per ton, but you really need to do a heat load calculation to be safe. A lot of windows on the west or south side of the house will really increase your load and you may need a lot larger unit. Insulation also changes your load so you may be able to cool a larger area. You may be able to get the Heat Load Calculation Form either online or from Johnstone supply. They are on the internet.

Interior blower only blows up to warm on 1997 A4 2.7ltr

Check the blend door cable for proper attachment to the control panel and to the blend door. Try opening the door manually to see the you can get hot air out. If not, the door may be broken inside the heater box. If yes, correct/adjust the cable attachment for proper operation.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
1990-97 Passat Models
Install the cable ends marked with a white or blue band to the control head assembly. The cables must be attached to the control head before connection to the system air flaps.
  1. Remove the climate control head from the center dash assembly to access the control head cable ends.
  2. Remove the lower dash panels as necessary to access the cable lever arms.
  3. Attach the airflow distribution cable (cable 2) to the airflow distribution knob's lower control lever.

This cable can be identified as follows:
Operates the mode/central air flap Cable has a black sleeve and is 25.0 inches (634 mm) long Cable is marked with a white band
  1. Press the cable's sleeve against the control head stop and install the retaining clip.
  2. Attach the temperature control/air blend cable (cable 3) to the air temperature knob's control lever.

This cable can be identified as follows:

Operates the temperature control/air blend cable air flap Cable has a blue sleeve and is 21.0 inches (535 mm) long Cable is marked with a white band
  1. Press the cable's sleeve against the control head stop and install the retaining clip.
  2. Attach the airflow distribution cable (cable 1) to the airflow distribution knob's upper control lever.

This cable can be identified as follows:

Operates the footwell/defroster air flap Cable has a black sleeve and is 37.5 inches (954 mm) long Cable is marked with a blue band
  1. Install the cable such that the blue band is over the retaining clip mount and install the retaining clip directly over the blue band.
  2. Install the climate control head.
  3. Set the air flow distribution knob to defrost.
  4. Connect the longest airflow cable (cable 1) to the footwell/defroster flap lever on the heater's air box.
  5. Press and hold the flap's lever toward the retaining clamp perch and install the cable retaining clip.
  6. Set the airflow distribution knob to the Vent position.
  7. Connect the short airflow cable (cable 2) to the central/mode flap's lever.
  8. Pull and hold the mode flap's lever away from the retaining clamp perch and install the cable retaining clip. Check the operation of both air flaps making sure they can be heard contacting their stops.
  9. Set the temperature control knob to full cold.
  10. Connect the blue-sleeved cable (cable 3) to the air blend/temperature flap's lever.
  11. Pull and hold the mode flap's lever away from the retaining clamp perch and install the cable retaining clip. Check the operation of the air blend/temperature flap making sure it can be heard contacting the stops.

You can slide a thin metal strip(like a paper cutter or something) and lift the back cover of the case..Watches do not have clips. It just clicks into place thats all.

Can the burner inlet air be adjusted on a coleman DFAA066BBTA oil fired furnace ? if so how do i set it ?

Sure can. To do it properly, you should perform a smoke test after each adjustment. This requires a special tool. This may be why noone has answered your question yet. There is a band on the left side of the burner that can be opened to allow more air in. The flame should be bright orange/yellow. And again, perform a smoke test after you adjust it.

Cant seem to get the green light going on vacuum head, hook seems to be wrong way when its should be hooking the band off its doing the opposite

1)First, you turn the square belt lifter on the front of the power nozzle until the red arrows line up (belt off)
2)Remove the power head from the front of the machine. Now turn the belt lifter the other way and line the green arrows up again (belt on).
3)Turn it upside down and release the two clips that hold the metal baseplate on and remove the baseplate.
4)Grab the brushroll and pull it out of the power head. Slide the new belt onto the center of the brushroll. It will hang loose...it doesn't have to stretch around anything yet. MAKE SURE THAT THE BRUSHROLL SPINS FREELY!! If it doesn't, you'll burn all new belts quickly due to the added strain on the belt. New brushrolls are available here...  NEW KIRBY BRUSHROLLS
5)Look at the ends of the brushroll. The brushroll has three height settings...you should see notches AND  NUMBERS on the sides of the brushroll's end caps. ONE notch (also #1) FACE UP on BOTH sides is the first setting and should be used when the roller is new. Three notches is the last setting used before a new roller is needed and should be used if the brushes are short and worn. Put the brushroll back in, making ABSOLUTELY SURE sure that the SAME NUMBER of notches and the same raised number on the edge are FACE UP on BOTH sides. This is important, as the brushroller will be unbalanced if inserted wrong.
6)Replace the baseplate by fitting the front clips into place and then push it down in back and secure it with the two rear swivel clips. Make sure it fits securely down over the bumper on all sides with no suction leakage.
7)Turn the belt lifter to where the RED arrows line up, making sure that the inner "hook" grabs the belt and stretches it up while you are turning it. Once you have the belt stretched up, put the power nozzle back onto the Kirby and lock it in place.
8)NOW...turn the belt lifter back to GREEN. If the little green light on the power nozzle lights up when you turn it on, CONGRATULATIONS!!! The brushroll is spinning!!

Checking the gas and oil levels?

There isn't really a guage to look at . What one does is to take out the plastic plug on the side of the engine and with the engine cold and level make sure that the oil level comes up to the lowest thread where the plug screws in.

You really should have a manual, so if it's missing look here for which ever "PM" number is printed on the tag on the end of your generator.

Carl

My Hitachi model 26L6200 develops a fault after about 40 mins to an hour with a shimmering vertical band 8 inches wide at the right hand side. This band eventually becomes a wall of coloured...

NOT really a solution; I deduced there is an overheating problem likely with a faulty component, so I looked at Thompson Directory and found local repair engineer who has the TV now.
I really wondered if this was a known common problem.
Thanks for you interest.
