There is a threaded connector marked cable/antenna. You use this connection to attach the antenna cable. Then you do a channel scan with the tuner set to antenna not cable.

Try to reset the tv by unplugging the power cord from the power outlet leave it off for 3-5 minutes. If that would not work try to call the tv manufacturer to have your tv warranted, either the manufacturer will replace or repair your tv depending on your warranty.
