If it's brand new and you bought it at a store, exchange it. If it's an online store and not refurbished you should probably call Sansa as it will be in warranty. If it's refurbished (has a silver capital R sticker on the back) or was an auction item then you can either call Sansa (although they aren't much help with refurbs). If you aren't afraid of working with small objects, are reasonably intelligent, and own a screwdriver, then you may want to clean the contacts (I don't know if this will void an existing warranty or not). Instructions are at: http://joustin.com/?page_id=10 Note, he uses rubbing alcohol but a less messy method is to use the eraser from a standard #2 pencil (pink eraser) to do the cleaning. (Alternately you can use any contact cleaner spray made before 1990 without opening the Sansa...of course the good stuff was banned for manufacture so newer stuff may not work)

Language: English, software to view videos

To change to English, scroll to Settings on the Sansa and cpress the center button to choose it (it looks like an equalizer panel--I understand you are in Greek settings, so I will try to give you what the symbols look like).
Next, scroll to Language (in Greek the word "language" should look like this
γλώσσα) and select it, then choose English, and select it.
The software can be obtained from this page below. The downloads are on the right side of the page for your player.

I can't find my folders for my music, photos or voice record. How do i add new firmware?

Make sure that Windows Explorer is configured to display hidden and system files. Open the "My Computer" icon on the desktop; select menu "Tools: Folder Options..."; select the "view" tab; select the "Show hidden files and folders".

If that doesn't work, try formating the Sansa C240. Press the "Menu" button, scroll down and select "System Info", scroll down and select "Format".
It should erase the flash memory and create the required folders.

SANSA

Here's my problem, the delay. The delay between when I push a button, usually to skip to another track, and the time it takes for the view to recognize that I pushed a button. I know you first have to push a button or scroll the wheel to get it ready to accept a command, but usually when the lights come on, the screen is on the last song, stuck there. Many times it's showing 2 songs back, just frozen. Then I have to wait until it goes dark again, and hope that when I push something again, it has caught up. This should be a fairly simple software upgrade. BTW, I do have the latest upgrade installed. Any help is appreciated, as this is very, very, very, frustrating.

Cheers,

Scott
