I think the best solutions is this one. Go to your amazon account and "manage your device", then deregister it. That resets the parental password. Go to the device and click resync. When thats done go into the settings gear, my account, then register it using your amazon account info. You won't lose anything on your device.
that easy to fix go to your control panel click on users click on your user profile and u can change password in there if for some reason it wont let you create new profile and set that as admin.and delete other profile and click on save all files and it will fix this problem
As long as you have the administrator password you shouldn't have any problem in disabling the parental control. If u have an average knowledge about computers, you can use the below link but it requires some hardwork from your part.

for the phillips and magnavox tv sets the code is 0711, then open the menu setting restet the code to something easy to remember , or what i would do is completly disable the child lock by going to that option in parental settings.try it hope it works!
