Question about Lexmark All-in-One Printer with PictBridge
It prints the test pages but when I go to pring a regular document it says printer can't communicate with computer enable bidirectional printer communication or something like that however in the printer properties box it is not selectable. It detects the printer when I unplug or plug in the USB cord and I have downloaded the latest drivers. Thanks in advance for your help.
Make sure that the "Enable Bidirectional Support" checkbox is checked: Go to "Control Panel"->Printers->Right click on the print Object->Properties under "Ports" tab, enable this check box if not already enabled. If you using vista make sure you do this from an "Admin" account, you may also need to select the "Run as Administrator" option after you right click on the "PrintObject".

Check if the printer is set as default printer
if not u might need to uninstall it and reinstall it
