Question about Brother HL 2700CN Laser Printer

EE9 error As seen previous question april from another owner, I too have the error EE9 warning on my Brother HL-2700CN Cannot find any papper jam or bits and pieces, have dismantled and put back again. Error still there and machine unusable. Any other suggestions?

I have similar symptoms with my HL 2700CN. However, web interface to printer shows device status and reports "Missing Tray 1" error. (Tray 1 is present). Printer Firmware version number is reporting junk number, implies possible firmware corruption. I'm still investigating.

Jamming and now EF5 Warning

1. ejected the opc belt (there's a hatch on the top)

2. turned the mechanic wheels forward and back

3. inserted opc belt

4. turned on/off

5. printed a test page

Have you tried cleaning the paper pickup and registration rollers? See page 128 in the HL-2700CN User Guide available from the Brother Solutions Center

When swtich on - red alarm and green Go lights comes on, nothing happens.

one bad toner has jammed or toner drive clutch has fault. open right cover and you can see witch clutch makes noise. or toner drive moter has problem.

Error EE9 on Brother HL-2700CN

This is a sensor error (belt marker). Could be a piece of paper or such stuck in there from a previous jam futzing up the sensor. Are you comfortable poking around inside your printer?
