I've got a Proline LVD2286WD TV/DVD. When playing any DVD there is no sound when people are talking, but there is sound when there is music playing, and the sound is fine on the adverts before the film.

Check the language mode settings on the DVD player.

The language settings may be set different than the DVDs setting. This will cause the voices to dissappear if the DVD does not have a sound track in the language selected on the DVD player.

If I were to guess, make sure it is set to play in ENGLISH. =D

try to reset the code go to www.fitness.manualsonline.com or www. remotecodelist.com

if the problem persist , you must open the remote control, and clean it. You must shure that the problem is NOT the TV, with some cable, or adjust the MENU TV+DVD format.

otherwise you must go to the repair shop TV, for fix it.

Check and replace its tuner. It is faulty. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

Would you like to unlock your Proline DVD-1000 DVD Player to Region Free?

Follow these steps to unlock your Proline DVD-1000 DVD Player:

Open the disc tray
Place a region 1 disc in the tray, but don't close it
Press the buttons 0, 1, 2 and then 3 on your remote control in order, one at a time
Press the Play button on either your remote or the player

Your Proline DVD-1000 DVD Player is now Region Free.

I cant get the tv to go through the surround sound i can only get the surround sound to play when its a dvd playing do i need another wire to go from the dvd player or will it not work no matter what plz...

If you've got the Audio Input Source set as TV-Audio and it won't play as Surround Sound then you'll need to connect the Audio Out from your TV (if it has one?) to the Audio AUX IN on your LH-T360SE and change the Audio Input Source to AUX.

You won't be able to do this unless your DVD player specifically says it is a multi-region player. DvVD movies that are encoded in a different region use different encoding methods like PAL instead of NTSC.

Try adjusting the sound on the tv. If you go into the "user" audio options you can select between normal and True Surround SXT. That may work. Otherwise, try playing with your dvd player's options. The problem I'm having is the tv plays the sound before the picture.

sounds like it is set to 5.1 surround when you only have a stereo tv hooked up to it. In audio settings you will need to select 2 channel out.
