Hey I found that install the game to the hard drive helps keep the system from overheating it's worth a try :D

This is a problem with recognizing your hard drive or the Operating System installed on the hard drive. Put your Windows 7 or Vista CD into your drive and restart, booting to the CD drive. Try to repair your startup problems. If this does not work, you may have a hard drive failure.

Quit certain applications and see if that helps it to load efficiently.
Always get it scanned by doing Scan Disk and Defragmenter. Other software such as Norton 360 will do the trick to keep your system in top performance. Clear the cache from the internet explorer and make sure you have the anti-virus and firewall software up-to-date.
If that doesn't do the trick here's one more idea. Purchase an external hard drive enclosure it will allow you to just move the hard drive from the system if you don't prying hands around your system. This way you can play the game when you insert the USB cable and turn it on or if you want to install it internally then you do so by just opening the system case, finding an available SATA cable and power cable and drive bay for the hard drive. You install it and you can use this for your games and applications only.
It's separated from the main Windows hard drive but it will work as long as you can install Slotomania on another hard drive. I have the same thing for my games. A whole hard drive dedicated to games only. Some things are better to be on another hard drive then the system hard drive. If you get a 500 GB or 1 TB WD SATA, connected to the system and partitioned and install that inside then you can just reinstall the software in that. You can partition it to 116GB each and use it to basically run games on partition and the rest for applications and programs.

A driver is a bit of software that enables devices of all kinds to talk to the central computer. Quite likely, your HD came with the driver on a CD.
Disconnect the HD
Use the CD to load the driver onto the system.
Connect the HD. The system should find the HD and connect to it.

I would want you to tell me if your Laptop feels hotter than usual.

If so... this in combination with the Boot device not found message means you may have two problems.

1: The hard disc is failing

2: Your cooling fan isn't working

Either one could cause the other to fail. If the hard drive is overheating the cooling fan may not be able to keep it cool enough to function properly,


If the cooling fan isn't working properly or the cooling vents are clogged the hard drive and/or the intergrated circuitry could be overheating

If you do not sense any over heating.

You hard drive may have crashed, if you have another one you can put in the laptop to see if it is recognized.

Would help to have some sort of disc you can boot off of that would recognize a hard drive such as a Linux live CD or Hiren's boot CD or some sort of PE disc. Maybe a Windows install disc. to try and find out the cause.

Are you installing within Windows? If so reboot your system with the Windows 7 system disc inside your cd rom, you should see message that says Press Any Key To Boot From CD at this point press any key. The system will load the installation files the it will ask you if you want to install or perform recovery you will select install, then it will ask you if you want to format your hard drive. Formatting your hard drive will erase the entire drive so back up any desired files. This will successfully install windows 7.

I don´t know is your laptop older or is newest, but or you have trouble with you hard drive (see in bios,does you hard drive there), or you have trouble with system.
You can try repair installation (don´t lose your data), or you can install a new system.

Games freeze for two reasons. Overheating and the hard drive locking up. If you have your games installed, you most likely eliminated the overheating problem.

Since you are not getting Red Ring, it probably isn't overheating. That leaves the hard drive. Turn of the console and unplug it. Remove the hard drive. Now is a good time to clean any dust from the connectors or vents. Reattach and play. Some games like Fable 2, Fallout 3, and others are more prone to freezing when accessing the hard drive that others. If it is freezing more times than not, you have an issue with the hard drive.

I just had this problem and I have a solution!!! You must reformat your xbox 360 hard drive. To wipe hard drive go to system settings, than memory and hover over "Hard drive" and hit Y and hit reformat, From there on it will give you directions. Reinstall game and your good to go! The problem is corrupt files thats why it will not start I hope this helps!! It worked for me!

try removing the hard drive, drop it in your laptop and us your OS disc to format it, reinstal and see what happens. that should work. good luck

If you're positive that it's only the motherboard on your first computer that's currently defective, you should have a number of options available to retrieve files from your hard drive.

Generally, the easiest way to do so is simply installing the hard drive into another computer. This should allow you to transfer files back and forth between the two installed drives freely, using a standard drag-and-drop method. Often step-by-step instructions on how to install a second hard drive can be found in your computer's owner's manual documentation, but may just as easily be found by looking for "how to install a second hard drive" using an online search engine.

Please keep in mind that once the hard drive has been installed onto another computer, it is strongly suggested that you only copy and transfer saved files such as word documents, spreadsheets, pictures and movies to the new drive. Transferring full programs and executable files manually may result in software conflicts/errors which may not be easily resolved.
