Question about Car Audio & Video
I have a Lanzar 1600W OptiDrive 50C amp that is pushing 3 12" L5 solarbarics. it hits hard when working but it has started to drop out when turned up and now has even started quiting all together. most of the time the light stays on and green but sometimes the light goes red? whats the fix? is it the amp, speakers, or wiring?
The amp has thermal protection and will shut off if overheated.
It will flash the red light if the speaker leads are touching or shorted to ground.
It will flash if the impendence is to low or the voltage drops below 9 volts.
First do you have at least 10 ga speaker wire and 2 ga power wire with an 120 amp fuse?
You might need to upgrade your battery-alternator and add a cap

Have you tried replacing all of your fuses? If that does'nt work check your ground........ I would check all your connections also could be a connection shorting out causing your red light to come on.
