Question about Frigidaire FDL50R1 Dehumidifier
Recently noticed ice on the coils. I defrosted it, cleaned the coils, restarted, and the ice returned. Located on the bottom of the coils and also freezes into the drain pan. The dehumidifier is a low temp model located in a 65 degree basement (supposed to work at down to 41 degrees). Fan works fine, although the air coming out is no longer warm.
Most likley low on freeon gets colder when it leaks out stat could be not working correctly

I think you need to raise the setting of the unit. It's running too long and icing up. If you back it down, the compressor will run less and allow more moisture to be developed.
