Verify the fridge "flap" which could be stuck closed. To do this remove the shelves and then remove screws holding the center panel (3 screws for a bottom freezer). At the bottom you will find a connector which can be unclipped so you can take the panel out completely from the fridge. See if the flap is closed if it is then that could be the problem. It may need to be replaced. Good luck.

The temperature of my GE Model PSH23PGSD in freezer and refrigerator will not maintain 0 and 34

heat rises so if it's cold on the bottom and warm on top in freezer it sounds like you have a bad evap fan motor, when you open the freezer door do you hear the fan blowing,if not look around and hold the door switch in and see if it blows on some models fan won't run unless door is closed but if no fan you have a bad fan motor, the problem with ge is everything runs through the mother board located in the back, also i've found that the fan blade slides off or out of position on the shaft and it just doesn't move any air but you have to find out if it's the fan motor or the board, also the fridge should be set at 37 or 38 not 34,if your handy and you're going to fix this yourself,i would get both parts from repair clinic because you have 365 days to return parts, change the fan motor first if it sounds like the fan is your problem and see what happens, this way you have both parts and you can fix it that day and send back any part you don't need,if that's under 8 years i would change the fan motor,it's cheaper than the board if this is what's happening.hope this helps and good luck

Ge tfx25jrbb-ww refridgerator not cooling

The first thing to check is if you can hear the fan running inside the freezer. This not only keeps the whole freezer cold it alspo circulates air down to the refrigerator keeping it cool as well.

It sounds like your fan is hitting something. Usually there will be an ice block or something in the freezer pushed in on the back and cased the fan or wire to move ect... I hope this helps

These refrigerator use the cold air from the freezer the cool the refrigerator. At the rear of the upper refrigerator compartment, there is a shroud. Remove the shroud and you should see a "flapper" that shuts off the cold air when desired. You will most likely see the flap is broken. Once the flap is broken, you lose control of your refrigerator temp. This is a common problem with this refrigerator.
Hope this helps.
