I cant get pod to link up to my computer

Make sure you have the most current iTunes version (10.2.0.34). Go to the Apple site and download it or just Google it if need be. Also make sure your iPod is fully charged (use a wall charger, NOT the USB port) or at least half charged before you connect it to the computer; there has been some cases where if the battery is near dead/dying iTunes refuses to recognize it.

My apple ipod touch will not charge. Nothing will come across the screen. not even a view if the battery. I've had it charging hooked to the USB cable to my computer for at least 30 minutes and still...

Hi,

it might be that the charging space that makes the i pod charge is faulty due to always removing and fixing the charger in the charging space. The charging space might have been damaged or the voltage of the light i your area fluctuates and might have affected the charger too.

Check the charger with another i pod to confirm if is the charger or the charging space that needs to be replaced.

Take care.

My ipod wont stay charged

This may not be the answer you are looking for but your I pod might not be fully charged, meaning that you are not plugging it in the computer/docking system long enough.( it takes much longer than 15 minutes to charge the battery. So you might want to plug it in/dock it over night) Or you may be playing a game that uses a lot of MB/GB so it kills the battery. And make sure that you press the play/pause button down for at least five seconds before switching the little switch at the top of your I pod. If you don't press the play/pause button for five seconds and just switch the switch at the top a little lock will appear on the left corner meaning you need to hold the play/pause button down for five seconds then the i pod screen goes black at that time flick the switch at the top off. -hope it helps owner of i pod nano and I pod touch.

Cant charge up

To take apart the iPod touch, you can follow this video guide here. Be warned that this WILL void your warranty.

Your best bet for a replacement battery is to search eBay.

This is a good replacement battery for a little under $8.

Left I pod pluged to computer for a week and now the I-pod is dead .

you might assume that when the I pod was plugged in the computer that it would keep charging it, but not all players have that capabilty. my mp3 was made for my computer so it would always charge when i had it plugged in,however i had a different player and it when dead because i thought it would do the same. chnaces are you will have to recharge the player via the the cord that plugs in the wall....please rate this.....thanks

My touch pad will not work was on the charger and just quit cant check messages

try repairing or changing the touch pad because chances are the curcits for the touch pad is fired this tend to happen when the phone is charged over and over so in the future try to charge the phone when the battery is nearly dead or charged at night only or at day only and also keep in mind the number of hours the battery takes to full charge if you change the touch pad and the problem persist email me casinova_dogg@hotmail.com
