Re: submerged in water

Hi Inga,

Remove the battery for 2 days, Run hair dryer on it for aout 15 minutes too. keep it in a dry place for at least 2 days with no power from battery at all. If this doesn't work your probably not going to get it to work again with sending it to a repair shop for estimate of damages and repairs needed to recover.

Check out my website, we may be able to get it working again for a reasonable price.Just get the battery out  and keep it out for at leat 2 days. Hit it with a hair dryer again before you put the battery back in.

Sounds like your PSP will need to be professionally repaired. If you are in warranty you could send it to the manufacturer, if not then try a place called They do good repairs and have great prices.

My psp fell and the battery pack fell out when I put the battery back the psp green light and sound of the game came on but the screen is plack and if I put it on and press R it still doesn't come on....

You most likely damaged the sensor that create the images on the screen. As for fixing it, it is fixable but it will be pricy. I would shop around and see how much they would charge to fix it because buying a new one might be more beneficial depending on what model you have.

Ok in left my psp charging for 3 days the green light turns on but the screen does not it stays black and my friend was updating my psp the he sayed that the battery fell then it turned off and it does not...

Ok it sounds as if your friend has bricked your PSP. Please be careful when you are updating your PSP as this will brick your PSP. Let me give you a quick overview of what happens when your PSP updates, first of all your PSP will erase it's operating system and write a new Operating system, this is why it will not turn on completely if you lose power while it's updating. ONLY UPDATE YOUR PSP IF IT'S COMPLETELY CHARGED AND PLUGGED IN FOR SAFETY REASONS. I will not post the solution to this problem for it is too long to post up here, YouTube has many videos on how to un-brick your PSP. Best of luck, for the solution you can email me at

My battery fell out while updating my psp, now the green light comes on but the screen stays blank!

Probably because some of the data got corrupted.
To reset to factory defaults (which is what I recommend doing), turn off your psp, hold start+select+square+triangle and then turn on your psp.
It should now boot up normally but with no data on it.

Psp fell ,turn psp light turns on.screen stays off

Hi first i will say sorry for that. I will recommend that you see a certified technician to fix it up, there are a few things i guess are wrong with your psp... the system of psp are fragile and should be handled with care because i think one or more parts are broken and need replacement. Cheers
