Question about Microsoft Xbox Console
I turn on my Xbox but my tray will not open.
That works sometimes.but most the time the magnet that connects doen through the tray to spin the cd gets pressed down. how you have to fix that is by taking it apart.First you have to take the lid off and the metal case over top of the cd tray.but on the top lid there is a big metal piece thats suppose to protect tvs and things from getting interference but everytime ive had this problem i always yank that off.its kinda hard to get off but dont worry you wont break anything. So anyways after you pull the metal from on top of the cd tray you need to bend that up. the only bad thing about this is it has to be perfect.if its bent to much or not bent enough it will not eject.the easiest way to do it is to put a big bend and then put it back on and press it down slowly until the tray pops out. after you get that put it back together and try not to put to much pressure on the top of the box. Or quick solution go buy a new cd tray top from a game tech near you.

You can try manually ejecting it by using a paper clip and poking it in the small hole underneath the tray. Keep pressing it and see if you can pull it out. After that try the eject button again.
