Question about Thermador FREEDOM® COLLECTION T30IR70NSP

2 Answers

Thermador Hi!I have purchased T181D80NLP and T30IR70NSP. and designed a kitchen around the 48 inches. We ordered them both left hinged and now when we read the manual to install it, we find that it requires a spacer of 6 inches between the 2 columns! I can fix 2-3 inches tops for fillers. Will that be enough. Since it has a freedom hinge that goes outwards it should be possible says one installer, the finger guard doesnt have enough space claims another. How do i solve this?

Though you may have to have them hinged left/right.  i don't know if they can both be left hinged and be right next to one another.  install manual that came w/ your units can explain.  they also have an installation video on their site that walks through how to install immediately adjacent.

There is a heater kit for use with direct side by side installations. Use that kit and the 2 units can be side by side with no gap.

Model #jb700tok3 how to lift the stove top. heat warning lite will not go off

Hello. REMOVE POWER FROM THE RANGE NOW! Using a headlamp or flashlight, open the range door and look underneath the cooktop at the front. (The door covers the screws when its closed) There should be 3-4 screws depending on the model, usually black, that have to be removed. The cooktop will now lift up from the front. It is hinged(open hinges so be careful because the glass cooktop can be easily dislodged off the hinged area) underneath the control panel on the left and right sides. The elements will be mounted to the bottom of the glass. You will need to identify the defective element temperature sensor using a voltage/ohm meter. Element designation 56, LR and RR, part number WB30T10129, 6-inch size. Element designation 57, LF, 9-inch dual, part number WB30T10133. Element designation 58, RF, 12 inch, part number WB30T10130. If you are going to attempt the repair, take pictures of the wiring AND clips for each element before you start. Mark the new element with an arrow or dot, etc. with the mounting clip location numbers from the old element( see the numbers for each of the positioning holes around the rim. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE HEATING FOILS AT ALL--THEY ARE VERY DELICATE! Have a friend/helper hold the cooktop up while you work--this will make the job much easier. I hope I helped you!

Thermador Freedom T361T70NNP - French Doors - Condensation

I have the same problem, and thermador stated there was a recall on the hinges. They are replacing the hinges to a newer stronger hinge that will pull the refrigerator doors in tighter. It took three different service companies to find the answer to this problem because I was told Thermador does not want anyone to know about this issue they have.

Both ovens do not heat max heat is 150 to 200

good luck.  We have the same range and have had issues with the ovens since the range was installed.  The overn does not heat evenly on convenction or bake.  Thermadore doesn't stand behind the product and neither does the distributor.  They tell us that Thermador isn't standing behind the product so there isn't anything that can be done.  We spent $8000 for an oven that burns the back corners of everything we bake.
