Question about HP Photosmart C6380 All-In-One InkJet Printer

My printer doesn't print for any one, any program, and any computer.

Ok, this happened to my printer once already. On the screen of my HP Photosmart C6380 All-in-One it says 0xc19a0024 followed by Please turn printer Off and then On. I have done this at least three times, put in a new black ink cartridge, restarted the computer, cleaned the holder of all the ink cartridges, and cleared the printer's Que???. I don't know what to do any more. This fix my printer last time and it just printed something about ten minutes ago. It will not print for my other computers, accounts, or programs. I can't even print an evaluation sheet. It just says that one message and that's it. Please help me, A Squared

I`m using HP Photosmart C3100 Series. The problem with my printer is that it doesn`t print the whole page, only half of the document was printed and then it will ask you to load another paper then it...


This sounds like the printer driver has become corrupted. Try unplugging the printer, and removing the drivers (from Add/Remove programs in control panel (XP) or Programs and Settings (Win7)).

Once the driver is removed, reboot the computer, and put the original driver disk back in the computer, and plug the printer in when prompted by the HP software.

The error message is Oxc18a0001. What is wrong with it. I've turned the printer off like it said to do, with no change.

Solution 2:

1. Press the On button to turn the printer off.
2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
3. Remove all the ink cartridges.
4. Wait two minutes.
5. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
6. Press the On button to turn the printer on.
7. Install the ink cartridges when prompted.

When I install the D7260 printer using the CD-Rom supplied it works fine. Then after a few days only the top two or three lines of the first page are printed and, after a long pause, the sheet comes out....


Many issues are caused when the HP Photosmart is connected to computer using a USB cable before the HP Photosmart software is installed on the computer. IF you connected the HP Photo smart to your computer before the software installation screen prompts you to do so, you must follow these steps.

Troubleshooting common setup issues :
1) Discoonect the USB cable from the computer.
2) Uninstall the software (if you have already installed it.)
3) Restart you computer.
4) Turn off the HP Photosmartm wait one minute then turn it on.
5) Reinstall the HP Photosmart software.

If your installation is incomplete, or if you connected the USB cable to the computer before prompted by the software installation screen, you might need to uninstall and reinstall the software. Do not simply delete the Hp Photosmart application files from your computer. Make sure to remove them properly using the uninstall utility provided when you installed the software that came with the HP Photosmart.

To uninstall from a Window computer and then reinstall
1) On the Windows taskbar, click Start, Settings, Control Panel (or just Control Panel).
2) Double-click Add/Remove Programs (or click Uninstall a program).
3) Select HP Photosmart Driver Software, and then click Change/ Remove.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
4) Disconnect the HP Photosmart from your computer.
5) Restart your computer.
Note : It is important to that you disconnect the HP Photosmart before restaring your computer. Do not connect the HP Photosmart to your computer untill after you have reinstalled the software.
6) Insert the HP Photosmart CD-ROM into your computer's CD-ROM drive and then start the Setup program,
7) Follow the onscreen instructions and the instructions provided in the Setup Guide that came with the HP Photosmart.

Problems with HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-one Printer


Populate the destination list You must populate the destination list in HP Solution Center for the Scan To function to work. Follow these steps to populate the destination list.
NOTE: HP Solution Center is the software that came with the product. You must make sure the software is installed on the computer for all the product functions to work correctly. The software is also necessary for completing this procedure. Install HP Solution Center if it is not already installed.
  1. On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon (c01364735.gif ), click All Programs , click HP , and then click HP Solution Center . HP Solution Center opens.
  2. Click Scan Settings .
  3. Click Scan to... Setup .
    NOTE: It might take several minutes for the list to populate. If the appropriate programs are already listed as scan destinations, discontinue this procedure. You must reinstall the software.
  4. Click each program to include on the Scan To Destination list. Figure 2: Add destinations c01404190.gif
  5. Click the Add arrow. The program listing moves from the left side of the screen to the right.
  6. Click OK .
