You can find the user's manual on the Lexmark website at
http://www.lexmark.com/publications/eng/1200/index.html.
Or look in your Windows Start menu if you've installed the printer.

The green button does color copy
Black button does Black & white copy
Left white button feeds paper.
Right white button sends scan to the PC. (useless)

Enjoy!

Want to print black and white. How?

Setting the font type color in a Microsoft Office Word document to black will ensure that the document prints the text in black. However, if there are images, graphics or photographs within the document, they will more than likely print in color or hued colors similar to black. To ensure that the entire document prints solely in black ink, you must set the color settings on your individual printer to black-and-white

Instructions:
1.Click "File" and then "Print." To open the print dialogue box using keyboard commands, press "CTRL" and "P" simultaneously.
2.Select the printer you are using at the top of the dialogue box under "Printer" and "Name."
3.Click the "Properties" button next to the selected printer. The dialogue box that appears is different for all users, as it depends on the type of printer being used.
4.Click on a tab, button or selection box indicating "Color." Most options include high-quality color, grayscale and black cartridge only. Choosing grayscale will print the document using various shades of gray and other tones such as blue or green that match the actual hues in the document visible on the screen. A photo or picture that may look black or gray could actually have blue undertones. To print purely in black and white with no undertones, you must select either "black cartridge" or "black and white only."
5.Select "OK" to return to the Microsoft Word printer dialogue box. Press the "Print" button to print the black-and-white document.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thanks.

GE Timer #15086 has red, white, green, black wires. Wall has white, black & black wires and switch sits between 3 other light switches. (I am replacing the current timer which only has 3 wires and...

GE 15086 programmable timer replaces single-pole switch only.
Single pole means 1 device turns Load on-off.
3-way is where 2 devices turn Load on-off, for example 2 switches located in hallway.

Your existing timer has white, black and blue wires.
Your new timer has white, black, red and green wires.
Green wire connects to bare ground wire in every occasion with every wiring device.

Electricians don't guess, they test the other wires.

Remove old timer.
Separate wires for testing.
Turn on power.
Tape ordinary tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from power.
Test each wire to bare ground wire.
Tester will light up on Hot wire. The Hot wire will connect to timer black wire.
Now test Hot wire to each other wire (except bare ground)
Tester will light up on Neutral wire. Neutral wire connects to timer white wire.

The remaining wire connects to timer red wire.
After connecting timer, push manual override button to check that Load turns on-off.

Manual override on 15086 is the door that covers buttons > use door as push button to check Load.
Next, program the timer.
Programming is straightforward and similar to other timers.
If you have a problem, add a comment.

You can also take advantage of Fixya phone support. Expert will walk you through the steps for a price.

Am replacing an old wall timer with a GE Smart Digital Timer. The old timer had two black wires connected to two black wires from the wall. The new timer however has red, black, white and green wires. I...

I've tested these timers.
Here's what to do:
1) Connect green to bare copper
2) Switch has 2 wires. For now, connect these two wires to timer-black and timer-red. Choose either one.
3) In back of wall box are white neutral wires twisted together and covered with wire nut. Timer-white wire connects to these white neutral wires. This action gives power to time clock.
4) If wall box does not have white neutrals described above, then connect timer-white to bare ground wire. Bare ground connects to neutral busbar in breaker box.
5) Turn on power and click manual override button or switch. If lights turn on, timer is wired correctly. If lights do not turn on, then reverse timer-red and timer-black wires.

Photo 1290 Changing ink cartridge

Hi there,

You may have to reset your printer, for when the green an red are flashing. Please do the following in order to reset the printer;
1-switch off printer itself
2-switch off at socket for 20 seconds
3-hold down both black buttons on front
switch on at mains
4-switch on printer itself
green and red flash together
5-now switch off at mains and leave for 3 seconds
6-while holding down both front buttons again, switch on at mains
both green and red flash together so release
7-quickly hold down the left botton, the one with the scroll icon above it.

Hold this until it resets itself, - the print head will re
charge and it will be obvious.

Restting by unpluggin rather than turning off at mains tends not to work.

This must help you as it worked for me.

Anirban Mazumdar
