SOURCE: oil leak under the engine
If it is a vertical shaft engine then it is most likely the crankshaft seal. That requires removing the engine from the frame and removing the pump from the motor to replace the seal. If it is a horizontal shaft engine then it could be either the shaft seal or the side cover gasket. Both require removal of the pump.

check the non-return valves in the pump block. if these are damaged or dirty you pressure will be greatly reduced. they are located behind the 3 lage brass hexagonal caps.
I hope this helps

I worked at a tool rental store while attending college and discovered how to extend the life of tools. Really a simple trick that you practice every day. Although your car can travel at a very high rate of speed, you only use about 30 to 40 percent of its power, if however you traveled at 100 mph everywhere that you needed to go, you would greatly shorten its life. Althouth I do believe that you have received good service from your unit, you may have increased the life by using only 60 to 80 percent of its pressure potential for most general work and increase only for stubborn debris.
