Question about Aluratek AUS0202 - 2-Port USB 2.0 Printer/Peripheral Auto Sharing Switch
I can't print on one PC with this swithc but can with the other. Not cables or the color laser I'm using. I get the message about an unkown USB device in the system tray. Do you know of a way to get the PC to recognize the switch?
First you have to install the drivers for the switch and then you need to install your printer driver using the switch as your port ... I'm assuming you have the driver CD for the switch

Are you sure it is not recognizing the switch? Just a thought, but maybe the other computer has not loaded the usb drivers for the printer. Have you connected the printer directly to the computer to see if you can isolate the problem?
