Question about Kenmore 62802 Electric Dryer
I have a Kemmore series 80 electric dryer. The problem I am having is the heating element comes on when the timer switch is set but the start button has not been engaged.
The heating element might be shorted to ground. This sometimes happens if the vent pipe is clogged with lint. The heater gets hotter than normal causing the heating coils to sag, touching the metal shield.
