you have to install the software driver of your webcam HO98063 on windows vista in order to work properly.......otherwise it will not work in windows vista........try this ......it will work 100%....i am a software engineer.....and i have experience in it......thats why i am suggesting you this idea..........
You cannot uninstall Windows Vista, but you can reinstall your previous operating system, which then replaces Windows Vista. To reinstall your old operating system, you must have the original installation disc. Back up your programs and files, insert the installation disc into your computer, and then reinstall the old operating system. To regain the hard disk space used by Windows Vista, reformat the disk during the reinstallation process. After reinstalling your previous operating system, reinstall your programs and files.
If you have a vista capable 98067 ver.1 you will need the vista driver for it located at vista drivers. Even though you are using XP the driver is tied in with the Vista one for your camera. I hope this helps.

On this page near the bottom they claim that easycam will not be supported for vista - a lot of companies have decided to just add vista to their new products - I had no luck at all with GE but you might find that in a few months or so someone out there has figured out how to do it - keep searching.
Sorry no solution, but I hope it helps anyway :)
