Printer display on face of printer is gobbledegook and buttons do not respond - reset, start, ok, direction, etc., even on-off.

Printer won't print from MAC computer. Updated the printer drivers. Still won't print. When start button is pushed the alaerm light flashes as it goes through setup, then goes off and the following display is shown.

    Display reads:

    544%$$LIV$$
C| | | | | |$LEMN (C| and | | represent boxes - some blank and some filled, like the boxes on the adjustment of density)

Sorry, I have no idea what you are referring to.  Locale settings?  Regional languages?

    Hi,

    My mistake, sorry,

your refering to the printer's on-board display is incorrect,

If after turning off half hour or so doesn't clear the error,

You have a hardware problem, as the ROM inside the printer is non-updatable,

And the buttons have lost all functionality too.

It could be a Language problem in the settings on the printer, but if not working, this rules this option out too.

    Sorry.

    Richard.

Uninstall/re-install the printer driver. If same problem exist, restart the printer spooler to avoid garbled print out. To fix this, please use the link below and click the 'Fix it' button and run the file:

NOTE: Do not forget to uninstall/re-install the printer driver first.

CM 1015mfp Colors are not aligned. when printing the characters looks like 3D.

If nothing else works, you may have to manually calibrate the dials inside the mirror box. This video link will show you how. http://youtu.be/R1DIko0a1MA
This may be necessary if the printer got bumped really hard.

I have a Ricoh GX3050sfn, it says the collector unit is almost full. I have installed a new unit, but it is still saying that the collector unit is almost full!

O.K. I had this problem also. Here is the solution to reset the Collector Full or Collector Near Full Alarm:
1: Press the following buttons: Clear (Yellow Button) then 1, 0, 7 in that sequence then press and hold the Clear/Stop button. After a few seconds, the printers service menu will appear.
2. Scroll, using the arrow button, up til you see 'Engine Maintenance' in the lcd display. When you have that on the display press the 'Yes' button.
3. The LCD screen will read 1000. Using the arrow buttons change the first number to 5. Use the right arrow button to move the cursor to the last digit and using the up arrow button change the last digit to 3. The display should now read '5003'
4a: When you have '5003' in the display Press the 'Yes' button. The display will change to 'RST:WASTE:R'. 4b:Press the 'Yes' button. 'EXEC' will appear on the display. 4c: Press the 'Yes' button again. The display will change to 'OK?'. 4d: Press the 'Yes' button again. The lcd will read 'RUNNING'.
When it's done running it will revert back to the 'RST:WASTE:R' on the display.
5. At this point turn off the printer. Wait 10 seconds or so, then power the printer back on. After the printer is done starting up the error should be cleared and your free to continue on. YAY! You beat the system!
Another quick tip: If your collector is near full or even partially full, find yourself some latex gloves, a plastic knife and some paper towels. You can carefully clean the collected ink out of the tank with the knife using the paper towels to clean the blade off between scoops. If you're not careful, it can get messy, but in that way, with the reset instructions above, you can easily re-use a collector tank 3 or 4 times.

I read on the display Error:0xd05d010d Reset Power

Hello
HP suggests 3 reset levels.
Power off printer, then press and hold buttons while powering on, if it doesnn't reset, then unplug it and press and hold buttons while plugging it in,
# and 3 Partial Reset
# and 6 Semi-Full Reset
# and 9 Full Reset
A Full Reset will clear any stored information in the printer, speed dials, etc, so always start with a partial reset and work your way up.
Hope this helps

Scan not functioning. Provides NO ERRORS.

Unplug the power cable from the All-In-One when there is still power in the unit.
Also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Leave the cable unplugged for atleast 1Min time.
And connect the cable directly to wall outlet with out any surg protector (if you have a different outlet try with that)
Then before connecting the cable to the All-In-One press and hold the # and no 9 button do not release the buttons untill it comes up with a mesage as reset (or if the screen goes blank then release the keys and turn the power on)
Then press the setup/menu button and then press the right arrow key till you see print reports> the press Ok and scroll to print test page and check if it is functioning properly.
Then try a color or Black copy and check.

Good Luck
