Question about Canon PIXMA iP4300 InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

Printer saying NO PAPER even though it's clearly loaded.

I've recently bought only a couple of months or so ago (around June time) a Canon Pixma IP4300 & up until now I've been absolutely mega impressed with the printer ... however I used the printer the other day to print out a sheet, perfectly fine, switched it off as normal, closed everything etc..

It's not been touched since & today I've just opened up the printer to print out a letter & it keeps saying "Paper Needed" .. even though I've put the paper in, it's just NOT grabbing it.

I'm really angry at the moment because I've only just bought this printer & I have important documents (I bought this printer for a reasn) that have deadlines & things to meet, so please help me as soon as possible in regards to this.

No matter what I do, it's just saying "No Paper" ... you can hear the noise of the printer moving when you press resume but it just says constantly "No Paper" all the time, it's not grabbing the paper.

Please get back to me as soon as possible about this as again, I'm really really upset about this right now, I'd really appreciate anyones help.

Thanks in advance & hope to hear from you VERY soon.

Canon MX860 prints crooked!

Does this happen when printing from the cassette (bottom tray), or the sheet feeder in the back, or both? Check that the paper guides are set snugly (touching but not buckling the paper) against the edges of the paper.

Canon pixma 3100 keeps saying load paper and won't print

If you have paper in the loading tray and it keeps giving you out of paper message then the sensor by the loading hopper is not working and would need to be replaced.

9 times out of ten though you might want to clean the printer and make sure the hopper is not just jammed this happens when you put too much paper in there at one given time.

Pixma mp810 paper jam?

Go inside the unit, the jam is most likely to be a very small torn shred of paper, near the carriage roller or similar. Us ea torch if the room is not bright enough, this helps fing it.

Saying no paper,. even when it's fully loaded & wont print.

i just thought i had the same problem... but you know how there are 2 buttons on the front of the printer once the paper output tray is down? the bottom of those 2 i think switches it back and forth between paper feeding from the normal, top spot, and from somewhere else, so you can try pushing that button! worked for me!

Canon iP6000D - reads "No paper"

Unfortunately I don't know how to fix it but I do know how to get around it. Or at least on mine I do. My printer does the same thing to me even though I have plenty of paper. I've just kept inserting paper into the printer until it finds that "level" that it needs to say it has paper. If you find that level you can either continue putting in paper from that level on or put something underneath the paper like a way to keep the paper high enough so that it reads it properly. I know it's not a solution but it's a loophole of sorts.
