Question about Refrigerators
Frigidaire Crwon series model - F44N21CEW1 will not freeze or become cold. There is power as the light is working and the motor is running. Any idea if it is worth repairing or should I junk it? Thanks in advance!!
Consumers Reports says the average life of a freezer is about 13 years before replacement.
They recommend replacement over repair after 6 to 8 years.
If this is a thermostat or starter relay or
some such it will cost about $100 to have repaired with labour. If the compressor failed or there is a refrigerant leak it will be more.
I don't know how old it is but that should give you your answer.
