Because we would need to ask you a whole lot of questions about how you are connecting to the Internet, I think it would be simpler if you were to go to this link I list below.  Use a friends or the library computer to print out the details. There's a lot of information and it seems to cover every detail you need to answer your question.

If you still have problems respond back and we will try to walk you through it.  But I think you will get your answer.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I used to have 5 computers hooked to a DLINK router (DI-707) for a LAN and the router hooked to a modem for internet. I changed IP and got a pk500 modem. I can plug 4 computers to the pk500 and get...

This might actually has nothing to do with the router itself, you may need to call your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and let them know you have a new router. They may have to configure it themselves because some modems are not plug-and-play (which means when you get a new router, the modem doesn't automatically recognize the new router.) So, your best bet right now is to call your ISP and they will walk you through it. I faced a similar issue and finally got through by simply calling my ISP, calling the router's manufacturer may do nothing, at least it didn't for me.
Try this: Unplug all internet cords, unplug all power cords. Wait about 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Connect your router to the modem with one internet line, into to the appropriate ports. Next, plug your modem into the power source, and let it run for approximately 4 minutes (or until all of the lights are on and it is ONLINE.) It varies per modem on when it is 100% online. Next, plug your router into the power source, and wait until it loads 100%. Then try plugging into one of your computers, not all, one, and preferably using Windows Operating systems because they detect internet more easily than Mac.
If all else fails, one more troubleshooting to do, and that is to plug your computer DIRECTLY from the modem to the computer via internet cord, bypassing the router. If you get internet from the modem, then it is supposed to work, the router could be the issue. If you are NOT getting the internet, then the modem is the issue.
Lastly, I really think calling your ISP would solve the issue all together. GOOD LUCK!

I just bought a new atari flashback 2. I have a VCR/DVD hooked up to my TV.. Do I need to hook the atari up to the back of the VCR/DVD or can I plug it directly into my TV.. The TV is new. Problem is, I...

You should be able to plug the Atari directly into the TV (If you have proper inputs available on your TV (you have not told us what make & model your TV is). BUT you can hook it up through your DVD/VCR if you want to. If you hook your Atari to your DVD/VCR you will have to power up the DVD/VCR whenever you want to play your games. The cool thing about running it through your DVD/VCR is that you can record toy game to prove to your friends what you have achieved.

Hello noah757702

In order to connect to Xbox 360 your modem would need both cable and phone jack, first ethernet cable connected from Xbox 360 to the modem and modem in turn should be connected to the phone jack to complete the connectivity set up, let me know if you need more info on this

Do you have a router? If the modem was hard wired to the other computer, you need to unplug your modem, wait a bit, then plug it back in to reset the computer's ip address.

Beyond Icebox computer

Depends on if you are trying to use a wired or wireless connection. Make sure if you have a wireless card that it is a compatible one. There are only a select few that will function properly on the icebox. If you are using a hard wired connection then make sure you have gone into the connection settings on the icebox to configure the internet and what network to use. When you do this you will be able to connect to your network and surf the web.

I've had my Icebox for 2 1/2 years. Can't log on to internet.

I do not fully understand your problem I think you are trying to connect a wireless connection from a router to computer if that is the case you need to do this with a USB lead to establish your settings and once the connection is established then you can shift the computer

ENTERNET CONNECTIONS FOR PS-3 80GB

if you want to be able to play your ps3 downstairs with your modem upstairs, you might consider buying a Wireless Router that has Wireless G , for your PS3.
This will allow you to access your Internet all around your house without wires. I suggest looking for one that features MIMO or range plus max, or anything else that increases your signal range since there is a fair amount of distance involved.

The alternative is relocating your modem downstairs and hooking it up to the PS3. BUT your computer wont have Internet.
