Insert USB-> no power for a while / change graphics->orange lette

Hi! Just got a new mainboard "ASRock P4i65GV". After inserting an USB-Stick it crashes and i can't turn it on for a while (seems to be dead, no power).

When i change graphics (to use Nvidia 6200) in bios every second letter during boot is shown in orange. Still orange when windows used.

Anyone got an idea what this could be ?
Thanks

Power Light Flashes 5 Times Won't Boot Up

If it uses AMI bios then 5 short beeps means motherboard failure.
  1. Remove RAM memory, Graphics card, other Plug-in cards, and Drive cables from your mainboard.
Only CPU + Fan + Power cable are installed on the mainboard.
  2. Power on the PC, and listen to the beeps:
    • no beeps => Power supply, CPU, mainboard or BIOS is most likely defective.
    • some beeps => remember the beeps and next step.
  3. Power off the PC, and insert the RAM memory.
  4. Power on the PC, and listen to the beeps:
    • no beeps => RAM incorrectly installed.
    • same beeps as before => RAM is most likely defective.
    • beeps have changed => next step.
  5. Power off the PC, and insert the Graphics card.
  6. Power on the PC:
    • some beeps => Graphics card is most likely defective.

What graphics cards can i use with it

Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?cat=Download&Model=ALiveNF4G-DVI

The mainboard has 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, for the graphic card.

Almost all new graphic cards, has this socket type.
The old type is AGP, but it does not fit this mainboard.

I recommed to use ATI/AMD HD series.

A big graphic card also needs, a bigger power supply.
At least 500 watts.

Good luck

Header usb usb67 on asrock p4i65gv motherboard not working

The one next to the Floppy Disk Drive header? Yes, I see it. (I'm looking at the Motherboard Manual in PDF file format, from AsRock Support)

Since the USB67 header is used to add additional USB 2.0 version ports, it's usually used for the Front Panel.

If someone connects the wires wrong, it can burn this header out. Someone before you may have done this.
It could also be that it is of poor design, and eventually just failed. Happens.

I would suggest buying a USB 2.0 version adapter card, and installing it in an unused PCI slot.
