"monitor has a green tint AOpen f2915" - moz-screenshot.png The solution: a hidden menuwithin the main menu itself. Hold the Menu button down while pressing Power topower on, and release power button only when the screen comes up, still holdingthe menu button. The menu will appear and there will now be a hidden selection,"Auto Color", printed in a red-on-black font at the bottom of themenu. Use the +/- buttons to access it, and press Menu. My green/yellow tintwent away! Now my picture works great, and the setting lasts throughAuto-Adjusts and Resets!

It's a connection somewhere. It could be the cable, monitor, or video card. If you have an alternate input on the monitor try that with a different cable. If you have another output on the video card try that.

My AOpen 19" LCD Flat Screen Monitor (Model F2915) is like new and works perfectly except for one thing. The push button power switch located on the top of the monitor has broken off and fallen insid

Certainly, if you jumper the connections to see which ones turn the monitor on or off, then you can go to an electrical supply place and get a micro switch and wire it in in place of the power button, or perhaps find a type that is flat that the power button can press. What you need to determine is if it is a push-on, push -off type switch, which always stays on or off depending on position or if it is a momentary interrupt switch where the button pressed momentarily turns it on and then releases and a second press connects the circuit to turn it off. You can do this by testing with your jumper wire, attach it and if the monitor stays on when you remove it, then goes off when you attach it again, you need the second type switch, if it goes off when removed, you need the always-on always -off first type switch. .

This blue green tint appears when a magnet is close to the monitor. Find devices having a magnet which is close to the desktop. This might be the problem. Take devices having magnets away and i guess things should be fine.

My aopen when you turn it on the green light kept blinking

Try it on another PC first, if it still does not work and you want to DIY repair, then please read below:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

My monitor has a green hue that will not go away when I adjust the colors in the screen. The blue adjuster doesn't seem to do anything. When I use auto adjust, It looks amazing for about 5 seconds then...

If you have another PC try it on the monitor, see if the problem persist. I f it doesn't check your video card's control panel. Some configuration there, may be overriding your monitor's. If you have an nvidia based card run the "optimize my display wizard"

Can"t find white or comfortable background screen other than a light green that is hurting my eyes

If you have a screen that gets "tints" of various colors on a corner or edge, check that the monitor plugin cable is not near or laying on top of a power cable, the magnetic field around a power cord will cause a monitor to get strange tints or lines in the screen. Option two if the entire screen has a tint equally all over it is possibly the color is out of adjustment or failing - a technician should be able to adjust it internally.

Flashing green power light - Black screen

I had the same problem with an AOPEN 17' lcd that was left behind at a rental property... I plugged it into my dell dimmension 4400 in place of my old analog. It worked fine the fist night, and got up and when turned it on again it had the famed green blinking power light. I switched back to the analog, and just disappointed I plugged in the AOPEN to another power source, and power came on a steady red light. I plugged it back into the puta and it came on again. I have not turned the monitor off again for fear of the blinks, and has been working great for close to a week now. Hope it helps someone else out there. Richard
