Advent 8315 screen brightness on batteries

the screen power drops when unplugged from mains. How do i change settings so that brightest screen is availble on battery power?

- I have that same problem. My battery light has been yellow since I had it. It actually went to green for the first time yesterday after I had been using it for a couple of hours, but I have just used it without mains power and the battery light has gone to yellow again.
Also I can make out why the cursor keeps jumping so that I find myself typing in the middle of a document.

As I do not know that laptop I would suggest to try pressing the fn key with F8 together for brighten up and fn - F7 to brighten down

press Fn and F5 to sort it
